Racial Profiling: 2 events

Two years ago Dora McCrae, age 68 was stopped, pulled out from her car and rendered unconscious by a Portland Police Officer. In
February a jury came to the conclusion that there was no excessive force used despite testimony by the officer that he pulled her out of the car by her head. Dora's case has been appealed to the Police Internal Investigations Auditing Committee. Though we all know, PIIAC's powers
are limited, it is important that City Council know we are aware of this case, and the ongoing problems with the police. Please be present,if you are able,to show support for Dora and POlice Accountability.
