Dignity Village moved to new location

Portland's mobile tent city has moved again after police eviction this weekend.
Early this afternoon, at approximately 12:30pm, Portland's mobile tent city for homeless, Dignity Village, moved yet again. Prompted by Sunday's "illegal campground" notices, the villagers packed up their shopping carts and rolled over the Hawthorne Bridge from their previous location on the east side of the Morrison Bridge.

The train of shopping carts, with several main-stream and alternative media crews close behind, headed to their new location in the shadow of the west end of the Marquam bridge.
